Sumathi Pundit
Hi, I’m Sumathi Pundit, CEO and co-founder of Kaitongo. A company born from my own journey of growing my career in professional services by building authentic client relationships.
I began my career as an engineer without any formal sales training, often being the most junior person in a room full of seasoned executives. I remember feeling out of place, as both a woman and a person of colour, but what set me apart was my focus on truly understanding my customerstheir needs, their pain points, and how our solutions could solve their problems. That drive to connect and build trust led to the sale of my first company, Evalueserve, for a 7-figure exit.

Recognized as one of DMZ’s Women of the Year 2023, an award celebrating exceptional women driving innovation and advancing the Canadian tech ecosystem.
Through this journey, I realized I wasn’t alone; many professionals who were rising stars in their firms were struggling with the same challenge: building meaningful relationships while juggling billable hours and business demands.
This realization led me to create Kaitongo. A platform built to help professionals become trusted advisors and succeed in business by focusing on what truly matters: genuine relationships built on value.
helping them establish credibility,
competence, and consistency in every
client interaction.

Leadership

A serial entrepreneur with a background in engineering and an MBA from Ivey Business School, Sumathi brings extensive experience in business intelligence, including two ventures in the legal sector. Having previously built and exited Evalueserve Canada and founded Kikeri Consulting, she launched Kaitongo to help attorneys, business development, and marketing professionals strengthen client relationships through AI-powered insights.

With over 20 years of experience managing business analyst teams for global corporations, Mahesh brings deep expertise in building and scaling research operations. He previously led a 50+ FTE research team for a leading UK law firm and now applies that experience to shaping Kaitongo’s product vision for attorneys, BD, and competitive intelligence teams.

Few people have shaped competitive intelligence for law firms as much as Peter Ozolin. As Founder and former CEO of Manzama, he built the company into the market leader in news and media aggregation, serving more than 225 firms and 75,000 users with a 95% client retention rate. Today, he brings that expertise to Kaitongo as Chief of Strategy & Development, helping usher in a new era where AI-powered insights don’t just report the news—they show firms what to do next.

With 8+ years of experience in operations, business development, and revenue optimization, Anisha Blodgett specializes in building scalable systems and driving sustainable growth. She has led teams across industries, from launching and scaling a health-focused restaurant to leading GTM sales strategy at a tech startup, always combining strategy, execution, and innovation.

Nicholas Pusic leads marketing at Kaitongo, bringing a global perspective shaped by experience across startups, agencies, and multinational brands including POD Marketing and L’Oréal. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia and a Master’s in Marketing and Data Science from Emlyon Business School. At Kaitongo, he drives strategy and execution to position the company at the forefront of AI-powered client intelligence for law firms.
